With the recent increase in civil arbitration limits, arbitrations have become more important and relevant than ever. Sam Elder and Rafael Urquia will teach you what you need to know for handling cases in civil arbitration. Every step is covered including effective case selection, excelling at the arbitration hearing, winning the de novo trial, and being awarded your attorney’s fees and costs. This CLE is divided into three, easy-to-follow parts: (1) general overview of arbitrations; (2) arbitration hearings; and (3) de novo trials and petitioning for attorney’s fees and costs. You will learn essential tools regarding arbitration preparation and presentation, post-appeal tactics and negotiation strategies, the “all-in” approach to winning the de novo trial, and receiving all of your hard-earned attorney’s fees and costs. Additionally, this CLE includes all the pleadings and documents you need for an arbitration, de novo trial, and more. If you are a Plaintiff’s lawyer who conducts civil arbitrations, this CLE is a must for you.Expand summary
