Matt Albrecht calls Spokane, Washington home. Having personally seen the tragic consequences of carelessness, his background working construction and as a planner for the Washington State Department of Transportation created a passion for ensuring safe work places and safe highways. His practice is almost entirely focused on litigation, usually injury and insurance cases or construction or commercial disputes, and he typically has several jury trials and appeals each year.
Matt has also testified as an expert witness on the Public Records Act and wrote the Public Records Act chapter of WSAJ’s Employment Law Deskbook. Several years ago, because of his strong belief in the value of jury focus groups, he began a focus group company (Jury Dynamics Research) with Brandon Casey operating out of Spokane, through which they do focus group consulting on both their own cases and for other plaintiff’s lawyers. More recently Matt co-authored the 2016 updates to West’s Washington Practice Volume 35, Washington Insurance Law and Litigation, and Volume 33, Washington Construction Law Manual.
