HONORABLE BEVERLY GRANT is currently the Presiding Juvenile Court Judge at Remann Hall in Pierce County at Tacoma, WA. and will complete her two-year rotation by December 31, 2010. She was appointed by Governor Gary Locke in April 2003 and successfully elected in November, 2003 2004 and 2008.

She is a former Senior Law Clerk of the Honorable Judge Jack E. Tanner (now deceased) of the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, former WSTLA and WELA board member and a former partner of the Law Offices of GRANT & GRANT.

For more than twenty years her focus of practice was on complex multi-party cases in the federal and state courts of Washington in California. Prior to her ascending to the bench, she was one of the founding members of the Pierce County Minority Bar Association and also the Pierce County Washington Women's Lawyers Association.

Judge Grant has served as a speaker for numerous national and state legal organizations including the American Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA), now known as the American Association for Justice (AAJ), Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (WSTLA), now known as the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ), National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), California State Association (CBA) Labor & Employment Law Section and the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA).
