PAUL N. LUVERA and his wife Lita Luvera are the founders of the Luvera Law Firm, a plaintiff’s trial lawyer firm and retired from the law practice in May of 2014.
In 2010, Luvera was one of only five lawyers in the United States to be inducted into the National Trial Lawyers Hall of Fame and the only member from Washington State. He has been invited by Gerry Spence to teach at the Spence Trial College from its beginning until his retirement.br>
He has set records for his personal injury verdicts in three states: Washington, Oregon and Idaho. He has many multimillion dollar jury verdicts. br>
Luvera is past president of the Inner Circle of Advocates and past president of the Washington State Association for Justice. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, the American Board of Trial Advocates, and the International Society of Barristers. br>
He is the author of five books on law and the contributing author to seven other legal books. He has published more than 100 articles in legal journals and has lectured throughout the United States to hundreds of professional legal organizations.br>
His awards include 1985 Trial Lawyer of the Year; 2007 Lifetime Achievement Award; 2009 President’s Award; 2014 Pillar of Justice Award from the Washington State Association of Justice and the 2008 Gonzaga University Distinguished Alumni Award.
