HONORABLE JANICE R. WILSON is a Circuit Court Judge in Multnomah County. She has been on the bench since 1991. Before becoming a judge, Judge Wilson was with the firms of Lindsay, Hart, Neil & Weigler and Ater Wynne Hewitt Dodson & Skerritt, where her practice emphasized employment law and products liability, in addition to other civil litigation. She graduated from Willamette University College of Law summa cum laude in 1979 and clerked for the Honorable Otto R. Skopil, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Among other things relevant to today's presentation, Judge Wilson is the chair of the Multnomah County Circuit Court Civil Motion Panel, chair of the Multnomah County Vanishing Civil Jury Trial Committee (now known as the Civil Case Management Committee), member of the American College of Trial Lawyers Jury Experience Committee and is a frequent CLE speaker and panelist.
