HALA GORES is a Palestinian-American attorney who for over 21 years has devoted her law practice
to representing individuals and families in serious personal injury and wrongful death cases. Ms. Gores is a member of the Oregon State Bar and the United States District Court for the District of Oregon. Ms. Gores holds an "AV" rating by the Martindale-Hubbell National Law Directory.
Ms. Gores sits on the Board of Governors of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, is a Guardian
Member of OTLA and is Oregon's Minority Delegate to the American Association of Justice. Since
1989, she has been a member of the Owen M. Panner American Inn of Court and is currently a Master
in that Inn.
Ms. Gores is President of the Arab American Cultural Center of Oregon, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the heritage and culture of Oregon's diverse Arab American community. Ms. Gores also sits on the Advisory Board of the Portland State University Middle East Studies Center. She is a former chair of the Multnomah Bar Association Committee to Advance Equality in the Law.
Ms. Gores has a ten year old son, Jake, and is married to Joseph Finkbonner, a Native American from the Lummi tribe who is executive director of the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board.
