Summary

If you knew you could add an additional $1,000,000 or more in value to 30-50% of your TBI cases, you wouldn’t hesitate to do so, right? Then don’t hesitate to attend this one hour webinar-it will change the way you evaluate any TBI case! As PI lawyers, we have historically looked at TBI cases through the lens of neurologists or neuropsychologists. For the last 20 years, endocrinologists have known that head trauma can cause dramatic and profound injuries to the pituitary, which in turn cause dramatic changes in behavior that mimic TBI symptoms. Endocrinologists know that these behavioral changes are mediated through damage to the pituitary, and know that this type of brain injury can be objectively proven. However, they typically don’t talk to neurologists or neuropsychologists, who may wrongfully attribute these behavioral changes to unseen axonal sheering in the brain, sending your client off for neuropsychological testing that the defense will simply use against your client. But what if those behavioral changes can be shown to be the result of objective damage to the pituitary, taking away from the defense their ability to label our clients as fakes or head cases? This is where we, as patient advocates, need to be able to properly connect the TBI dots amongst the different medical professions to get more value out of our TBI cases. If you regularly do TBI cases, you cannot afford to miss this webinar!
